We have a proven history of diverse manufacture. We have a diversified production setup & a wide range of vehicles.
KVM was the first assembly plant in Kenya (there are 2 others,AVA Mombasa ,and Isuzu, Isuzu only produce for Isuzu). It was originally named Leyland Kenya.First production off line was in August 1976.
The plant was originally designed to produce light and heavy commercial vehicles.
Over time the plant production slowed down as the countries economy declined, and KVM diversified into Bus and Truck body building.
Government intention is to revive the manufacturing sector , as part of the Big 4 Agenda.
KVM will play a leading role in this renewed initiative.
We have an installed capacity is 6600 per annum on a single shift.
