Rhino Charge Participation

Every Year our Managing Director Mr. David Percival takes part in the Rhino Charge event, which is an annual off-road motorsport competition held in Kenya in which entrants are required to visit 13 points (guard posts) scattered over approximately 100 km² of rough terrain within a 10 hour period. The winner is the competitor who visits the most guard posts in the shortest distance (GPS measured).

The event is organized in order to raise funds to support the activities of the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust, an NGO which works towards a noble cause: the conservation and protections of Kenya’s mountain range ecosystems, the so-called “Water Towers”.

Mr. Percival’s team referred to as team possibility was no 17 overall of 64 teams in the 2015 competition. They visited all the 14 required guard posts at a distance of 36.650 km which was only 6.599 km less from the winning teams score.
